Coal for Christmas


Back in the 80’s, we were the only house in the neighborhood that heated with a coal burning stove.

It was amazing how popular we became every Christmas!

    I remember coal fires from my childhood - guess who had the job of cleaning the grate each morning?
    Love your painting, did you know that if we were naughty we'd be threatened with only coal in the stocking? :lol:
